Firearms Policy

• Federal & State Compliance
  All firearm transactions are conducted in accordance with federal law (ATF regulations) and Louisiana state law. Customers must meet all legal requirements to buy, sell, or pawn firearms.

• Background Checks
  Every firearm purchase or redemption requires a federally mandated background check (NICS), regardless of prior ownership or history with our shop. No exceptions will be made.

• Eligibility
  Customers must be 21 years or older to purchase a handgun and 18 years or older to purchase a long gun, with valid government-issued identification.

• Holding & Redemption
  Firearms placed on pawn must remain in our possession until they are legally redeemed. Redemption of a pawned firearm also requires a background check, even if the customer is the original owner.

• No Same-Day Cash & Carry Without Clearance
  Firearms will only be released after successful completion of the background check. If the check is delayed or denied, the firearm cannot be released.

• Safe Handling & Transfer
  All firearms must be brought into the store unloaded and with actions open for inspection. We reserve the right to refuse any transaction if safe handling procedures are not followed.

• No Refunds on Firearms
  All firearm sales are final once the transaction has been legally completed and approved.

• Firearm Transfers
  We provide firearm transfer services for a $25 fee. Firearms delivered to our shop are available for pickup the morning after delivery. Same-day pickup may be available for an additional fee, subject to background check approval.
